There are at the moment four pedigrees available.

The biggest ones are the two pedigrees witch originated in the Netherlands. Jan and Michiel both came from the town's Hooge en Lage Zwaluwe. They are possibly the ascendants of a common ancestor but that is not proven yet. Maybe the Dubbeld family name is related also.

Thomas Dobbelmann's pedigree resulted in descendants with the Dubbelman family name. So they are interesting for the Dubbelman Connection also.  Thomas came from Köln, Germany (Germany). The Dutch descendants dropped the second "n" from Dobbelmann ore took over the existing name Dubbelman. The name Dobbelman with one "n" at the end is very known in the Netherlands because of the detergent factory and brand "Dobbelman".

Aappo Dubbelman has the smallest pedigree yet. Aappo came from Russia. Little is known of this family. It is likely that the Finnish and Swedish Dubbelman family's are descendants of Aappo. It is known that Russian relatives are still living in Russia and Finland and possibly Estonia.

Overview surnames

It is possible that persons are registered in the database, but not linked to one of the pedigree's. If you search for your link it can be that you don't find the link in your family history at this site.
