The only possible link of the Dubbelman's to the genealogy could be Petrus Franciscus Johannes Dubbelman of the Thomas Dubbelman pedigree. He was born in Rotterdam which is not far of 's-Gravenhage (The Hague). His occupation was not mentioned but records show as occupation 'kistenmaker", he made wooden crates. F. Dubbelman mentioned as occupation Civil Engineer, C. Dubbelman Steam model mentions maker or factory and Carpenter factory.
The Dobbelman(n)\s are for sure members of the Thomas pedigree.
It seems rather strange to find only members of the Thomas pedigree. But it is not strange when you take in consideration that the telephone subscriptions in the larger towns were more needed and probably earlier possible. The Jan Dubbelman and Michiel Dubbelman pedigrees lived in smaller towns were the people lived more closely and everyone knew each other.
After World War II the Netherlands was uncertain of their basic census registrations. The hunger winter of 1943 and the liberation of The Netherlands as well as the occupation itself, took many lives The new administration of the government needed good information to base their policy's on. So in 1947 there was a so called "volkstelling" and all homes were visited and the people counted. This resulted in an index that is the base of following figure. The figure shows the amount of counted Dubbelman family members in every province. The cursive numbers are the city's of Amsterdam (5), The Hague (28) and Rotterdam (130). The last row is the amount of Dubbelman named people who did not reside to a province or city because they had no steady residence.
