About me (Henk Dubbelman)About The Dubbelman Connection
I am a Dutch male and born the fifth of July in the year 1962 in a place called Haarlemmermeer, more precise in the township of 'de Lijnden'. My full name is Hendrik Pieter Dubbelman. I'm named after my grandfather (Hendrik Arie) of fathers side and a brother of my father who was killed at young age in WorldWar II (Pieter).

I married in 1986 with Saskia Venis. She is born in Eindhoven on 27 march 1965.

I live in the Netherlands in a town called Veldhoven near Eindhoven. I've got  three lovely daughters . The eldest is born 15 June 1991 and is called Lieke Cornelia (Lieke) , the two other daughters are twins and born 25 June 1993 and are called Anne Dingena (Anne) and Eefje Adriana (Eefje). All my children are born in Eindhoven. 

My hobby's are reading Science Fiction from famous (mostly American) authors and Genealogy. Look at my ancestors by clicking on the link of Michiel under the menu Pedigree on the left. My wife and I find also a hobby in gardening in our fruit and vegetable garden.

The Dubbelman Connection started soon after my first steps on the internet. Thinking about my first homepage the first thing that came in mind was to use it as a platform for my hobby for family history. First as a homepage at the site of my internet access provider. The internet gave me a wealth of information. And its still more an more now archives are publishing their data on the internet as well.

In 2002 I claimed my own domain name. The www.fam-dubbelman.net is now the home of "The Dubbelman Connection". The name stands for family Dubbelman network and is more easy to type and remember as something like thedubbelmanconnection.net or the-dubbelman-connection.net or .... etc.

The Dubbelman Connection contains three separate pedigree's, photo's, history and more. The most information is from own digging in archives, but more and more is contributed by many family members. Also I roam the internet for addresses, names, data, etc. with many search engines.
